O multímetro de Digital R/C custa apenas alguns dólares mais do que um voltímetro digital ordinário, contudo executa seis funções adicionais com a exatidão digital e a facilidade do ABC de uma ferramenta verdadeiramente bem projetada.

Para selecionar uma função basta girar o seletor. Inclui uma bateria de 9 V de forma a não gastar a bateria sob teste. É compacto e leve cabendo no bolso da camisa.

Test settings of 2V/20V/200V enable the Multimeter to read voltages on R/C batteries, charger outputs, servo leads, extensions, field box accessories, NiCds for cordless tools...and more. (3 settings).

2. Measures R/C Radio Battery Voltages Under Load
Displays the voltage of 4-, 5- and 8-cell radio NiCds while they're being subjected to a "real world" radio system load of 250mA. A 2-color LED glows green if the pack is okay to use, or red if voltage is below safe values. (3 settings).

3. Measures DC Current
Monitors charger or power supply current at the 10A (max.) setting, but can be reset for 500mA, 20mA or 2mA ranges to check the current in a servo, radio circuit or tiny watch battery. (4 settings).

4. Measures True AC Voltages
Reads the output of 110V AC outlets at the 200V setting (before using a power supply or charger) and 220V outlets (such as those for heavy-duty home appliances) at the 500V setting. (2 settings).

5. Measures Resistance
Checks battery discharge resistors or motor windings in seconds. Measures resistances as small as 200 milliohms and as great as 2 megaohms. (200/2K/20K/200K/2M) (5 settings)

6. Diode Tester
Tests motor diodes, transmitter diodes, etc. for proper operation. (1 setting).

7. Sound-Checks
Continuity Beeps when an uninterrupted path exists in an electrical circuit; won't beep if the connection is bad. A good check for wiring, blown fuses or tripped breakers. (1 setting).
